Hello everyone! My name is Dawn and I've been involved with emergency preparedness and food storage planning for over 20 years. I am a Food Storage Specialist and Emergency Preparedness Consultant. I have been a customer of Emergency Essentials since their beginning, and I started working for them about a year ago. This has given me a unique perspective on the ins and outs of the preparedness industry.I am so excited to be able to start sharing with you what I have learned over the years, sometimes the hard way. I will be blogging about Food Storage (shopping, storage, rotation, how to use it, etc.) and Emergency Preparedness for you, your family, pets, car and neighbors.
I can’t wait! Until next time!

Suggestions for medical purposes for people on LOW SODIUM Diets? Have heart problems which mean no more than 1500mg/day
Being a Food Storage Specialist and Emergency Preparedness Consultant is an awesome job! I have really enjoyed helping people get better prepared. Over the years I have done a lot of work with community groups, neighborhoods and individual families.
I have taught classes on how to build and use emergency kits including how to customize them for special needs situations.
I have also worked with many families helping them with their long term food storage. I personally take them through the steps to design, purchase, store, use and rotate their food storage. Now I teach some of the classes here at Emergency Essentials.
Wondering about pet food storage too. Thanks.
I look forward to reading about pet food storage.
