MREs Trusted by the US Military!

When disaster strikes, trust nothing less than the MREs the US military chooses to keep our soldiers in fighting condition all over the world.

4 to 7 Days of Complete Calories per Case

It takes a lot to keep our fighting men and women on their feet, which is why these MREs do not skimp on calories.

Each MRE Food Supply comes in a case that contains 12 meals. Each meal packs 1,100 to 1,300 calories, which means that just two meals will easily get you over the 2,000 calorie mark—the daily intake recommendation for adults.

Treat Yourself to a 4-Course Meal. So Much Food!

Bring your appetite because each pouch packs four courses:

  1. An entrée
  2. A starchy side
  3. A tasty snack
  4. PLUS a dessert!

Pouches also come with a fruity drink mix and accessory pack with all the fixings: spices, coffee & creamer, and candy, plus a spoon, napkins, and a brush pick.

Includes a flameless heater for on-the-spot cooking.

Surprisingly Delicious, Restaurant-Style Meals

Think you know MREs? Think again.

These meals read like something pulled right off a restaurant menu: Tuscan Beef with Cannellini Beans and Vegetables, Cheese Tortellini with Marinara Sauce, Curry Chicken with Vegetables, and more!

1 - Flameless Ration Entrée Heater

Instructions for Safely Heating Your Food

Our military-spec Flameless Ration Heater (FRH) comes individually packaged in a sturdy, leak-proof polybag which serves as the heating container. (The polybag measures 5 3/4 inches wide by 14 1/4 inches long.)

Simply cut open the top of the FRH polybag sleeve and place the MRE food portion inside the bag next to the heater. Add plain water to the “Fill Line” and fold the open end of the bag.

In just 12 minutes, you’ll be able to enjoy a hot meal without needing fire.

              Heating Instructions for Frozen MREs

Use two heaters: one to thaw, one to heat.

To thaw frozen MRE: Follow instructions above except add water to bag before adding MRE. When heater begins to feel warm, add MRE to bag.

To heat thawed MRE: Follow instructions above.

In cold weather, heater can be placed in BDU pocket to heat MRE. Make sure folded end of bag is up to prevent water from leaking out.

Making the Meals with Flameless Heaters

Not sure how to make these ready-to-eat meals? Follow these steps to prepare your food with the included flameless heaters:

              1. Open the box and pull out the flameless heater bag.
              2. Tear open the flameless heater bag, then slip the packaged meal inside.
              3. Add enough water to reach the fill line. Be sure not to overfill.
              4. Fold over the top of the flameless heater bag, then reinsert it into the box it came in. (The bag will heat up quickly, so act fast!)
              5. Place the box at a slight incline, such as perched against a rock or tree.
              6. Allow it to sit and cook for 5-10 minutes.
              7. Once cooked, remove the flameless heater bag from the box. Both the box and packaged meal should be warm to the touch.
              8. Tear open the tabs on the packaged meal and dig in!

              WARNINGS

Vapors released by activated heater contain hydrogen, a flammable gas. Do not place an open flame in the vapor.

After heating, the heater bag and MRE pouch will be very hot. Use caution when removing MRE pouch from bag.

Discard heater and bag after use. Do not drink the water remaining in the bag or use it in food items.

This shelf-life chart was designed by the US Army research and development center (NATICK) using a panel of everyday people to determine when an MRE no longer tasted acceptable.

The panel found that while MREs would not taste “fresh” after the shelf-life date, they could maintain their nutritional content far longer. That means you can still eat many of the components of your 12 Complete MRE Food Supply well past their date (though some components may expire sooner than others).
