This time UPS did it right!
The original misdelivered order was replaced & landed on my front porch this afternoon. Although I’m not opening the two buckets of food packets until or if some dreadful catastrophe happens, hopefully never,I am reassured having them in the house.

Good first taste
I opened the Rice Mushroom Pilaf and made the whole batch and froze some for later. Excellent flavor, not over salty, (which many of us with puffy ankles appreciate! )One can add seasonings or herbs to taste if needed. The only drawback is that with the powdered entrees, it is difficult to only use a serving or two at a time,... because you are not sure of you are getting more of the rice or more of the sauce powder in your measuring cup. IE Did the rice settle all to the bottom of the pouch? > the only way to use these large 8 serving pouches for a serving or two at a time is to dump all the contents out in a mixing bowl and stir it up before scooping servings out to cook, then dump the rest back in the sealable pouch. ( Or make it all and freeze leftovers which wont work in a true power outage)

1-Month (30-Day) Emergency Food Kit arrived!
I have not used the item, and probably won't unless there is an emergency. However, I can report that it arrived in good order, and is providing me with some much needed peace of mind. I ordered 2; one for my husband and one for me. Will very likely order more in coming months. I like the idea of having a 3 month supply for both of us. Thanks so much for prompt service. There was a HUGE snow storm here and I worried it would get delayed for days, or be returned to sender. But it arriviedas promised! Many thanks!
