Cowboy’s Casserole

(Serves 4)




Ingredients:

4 Cups EE Mac and Cheese (approx. 4 servings)
1 1/3 Cups EE Freeze-Dried Beef Crumbles (4 servings)
3 Tbsp EE Dehydrated Onions
5 Cups Water
1/2 Cup Breadcrumbs (for topping)
To taste Salt and pepper

 

Instructions:

  1. Preheat: Oven to 375°F.
  2. Simmer it up: In a medium saucepan, bring 5 cups of water to a boil. Stir in beef crumbles, dehydrated onions, and mac & cheese mix. Reduce heat and simmer for 12–15 minutes, stirring often, until everything is tender and creamy.
  3. Season to taste: Add salt and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Bake to perfection: Transfer to a greased 8x8-inch baking dish and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Bake for 10–15 minutes, until golden and crispy on top.
  5. Serve: Let cool slightly and enjoy!
