Emergency Essentials® Freeze-Dried Roast Beef (Cooked) Large Can
Add the flavor, texture, nutrition and versatility of real roast beef to your home storage supplies with Emergency Essentials Roast Beef. Our Roast Beef has been seasoned just right, cooked and then freeze-dried to lock in the color, texture, flavor and size of fresh roast beef. Then we package it for long-term storage using a sealed #10 can and an oxygen absorber. Because it has been prepared and packaged for long-term storage, this allows you to enjoy the heartiness of beef now or in years to come. It re-hydrates into tender, bite-sized chunks that retain much of their original flavor, size, and texture.
Use this roast beef to enhance the nutrition and possibilities of your emergency food storage by using it with soups, stews, stir-frys, pasta dishes, or use as a main dish. An excellent source of protein and iron. Only ingredients are beef and salt.
Product specifications listed above may differ slightly from those on actual product label due to occasional changes in raw ingredient suppliers. Please refer to printed product label for final specifications.
The quality and taste of most products will last up to 20 or 30 years, however, shelf life varies based on storage conditions and ingredients. Products such as eggs, banana chips, creamy soups, and bread mixes have a higher fat content which limits shelf life to 5 or 10 years. For best results store in a cool and dry place at temperatures between 55°F and 70°F. Extreme temperatures will deteriorate quality and shelf life.
