Buttermelt Biscuits

Ingredients:

2 Cups EE All-Purpose Flour
2 Tbsp Baking powder
1/2 Tsp EE Iodized Salt
1/2 Cup EE Butter Powder (prepared)
3/4 Cup Water
1/2 Cup EE Instant Fortified Nonfat Dry Milk (reconstituted)

 

Instructions:

  1. Preheat: Oven to 425°F.
  2. Mix dry ingredients: In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add liquids: Stir in water, butter, and reconstituted milk until a soft dough forms—do not over-mix.
  4. Form biscuits: Drop spoonfuls onto a greased baking sheet or gently shape into rounds.
  5. Bake: For 10–12 minutes, or until tops are golden brown.
  6. Optional: Brush with additional prepared butter before baking for extra flavor.
