HOW IT WORKS

STEP 1

Before the first use, rinse the interior of each chamber with cool, clean water and mild dish soap. Place the top chamber on the bottom chamber and affix your filter(s).

Simply fill the upper chamber with water and let gravity do the work. As the water passes through the filters, it flows into the lower chamber clean, fresh, and ready to drink. Add additional filters to increase the filtration speed.

The Alexapure Pro is not designed to filter saltwater or desalinate ocean water. As with any untreated or unknown water source, follow appropriate water safety guidance based on local conditions.
How long does an Alexapure Pro filter last?

Each Alexapure Pro filter has a verified capacity of up to 200 gallons. Actual filter life can vary based on the quality of the water being filtered and the contaminants present.

A significant decrease in water flow is also an indication that it's time to replace the filter. The Alexapure Pro can hold up to four filters at once, which can increase flow rate and total filtration capacity.

The concentration of the indicated substances in water entering the system was reduced to a concentration less than equal to the permissible limit for water leaving the system, as specified in NSF/ANSI 53. Minimum substance reductions are listed on the provided test data sheets for testing up to 200 gallons.

"Love the ability to filter bacteria and viruses as well as other toxins, BUT... the filter package arrived punctured which soaked through the internal and external packaging and did not allow water to filter through, because it had dried to a point. Customer service, via the extra insurance on package, was able to send another filter, which should have been done without EXTRA insurance. Anyway, I enjoy the filter's ability to maintain essential minerals as this allowa a wonderful tase. Another suggestion, there should be a vertical glass window so we can see the water level in the bottom chamber, so as not to over fill the top chamber leading to an overflow. Hope this helps."

"Seems to work. I knew it was going to be small but this is ludicrous. If you have a family of any size and they're regularly drinking water you'll never be able to keep up. They really need to make a model at least twice as big. Do it again? Maybe, because two are really needed for about any household size unless you're just a lump or two on the couch and don't bother doing anything."

Improper directions on filter maintenance

"This would be 5 stars however nowhere in directions did it say to flush 3x a week and keep filter moist. Ruined $100 filter by not getting that important instruction. Called after a couple uses and water never tasted better. Then when I went to refill it it smelled like mildew. I called to ask if somehow I made a mistake on simple instructions on putting it together and was told by a very nice lady it just needed flushed more. Directions to put together were great but in nowhere in box or website did it give maintenance directions. This very important information should be in every box. I had to google to find out correct info after damage had been done. Now I’m out $100 and can’t use filter until I can afford to replace after wasting 20 gallons of water."
