When I open a can, I fill several pint or qt. jars & vacuum seal them & refrigerate. I keep 1 jar unsealed to use in soups, spaghetti, omelets etc. It is so easy to always have beef or chicken ready to rehydrate & use without thawing, frying etc. A little goes a long way because it expands.
