From your tame backyard to the unpredictable off-grid landscape, set up these solar panels outdoors and they’ll stand up to the elements. From pouring, torrential rains to heavy, wet snow—even dusty, dirty winds—these cells can take it all.

USING YOUR PANEL

Each panel is a semi-rigid solar panel that folds up for easy storage. The solar panel has legs that extend out and support the panel in a position to collect sunlight effectively. 

Position the panel in a location that can receive maximum sunlight throughout the day. You may need to move the panel throughout the day as the sun moves across the sky to keep the solar panel in an optimal position to collect the sun’s rays. The sun will provide energy for the solar panel for 6-8 hours a day depending on location, weather and season.

When using your 200W solar panel to charge a Grid Doctor battery, plan on the panel providing +50% of its rated capacity, as with any solar panel. For example, the Grid Doctor 200W will provide anywhere from 100W to 180W of electricity. 

Your Grid Doctor 200W solar panel will charge a Grid Doctor 2200 battery as follows:

• 1 Solar Panel = 11-20 hours
• 2 Solar Panels = 6-10 hours
• 3 Solar Panels = 4-7 hours 
• 4 Solar Panels = 3-5 hours
