We haven’t used this yet

"We haven’t used this yet but we know it’ll be good. We get all of our food storage here and have reordered things. It arrives quick and the number 10 cans are convenient. Not too much and not too little. It’s so comforting knowing we have food storage. I share it with my family when they are in need. Thankfully they live near by so I can!"

This was a 'purchase again'.

"This was a 'purchase again'. I followed the advice to adding just a splash of extra water (from other commenters) and it worked perfectly the 2 times we've used it so far. I will be buying another can. Thank you!"

👍👍

"I love this burger mix. I do suggest adding a splash more water than instructed to help rehydrate the black bean. I would also like more beans it. Regardless, this mix makes a delicious and satisfying burger. Looks like it's going to be a weekly staple for me. ❤ Purchase the case when it's on sale for a reduced price!!"

Versatile & Tasty!

"Very pleased with this product! Opened a pouch to try out before "stocking up", made a Spanish omelet, also using Ready Hour scrambled eggs mix, and it was surprisingly good!! Keeping in mind this product is packaged with a distinctly taco seasoning flavor, I think it could still easily be adapted to a breakfast sausage-type use by adding sage (going to try it for sausage gravy tomorrow), or go Italian with some oregano & basil for spaghetti. . I'm definitely going to be experimenting that way, and because my prep is bugging-in, there will be plenty of herbs & spices available. My take away, you won't feel like it's survival food in a SHTF situation because it's honestly good enough to eat any day on your shelf. I'll add, I think creativity will be important in a longterm situation, and to be open minded about not comparing everything to "what you've had" all your life in terms of textures & tastes, and enjoy the tastes of these shelf-stable foods for what they are. And they are in fact good!"

Good taste

"I bought this mix at the same price of 6 (#10) cans for $97, their regular price is way too expensive in my op. On the can it says 1and 1/3 cups mix plus 3/4 c. water will make 4 burgers. But on this site it says 1and 1/2 cups mix will make 6 burgers. I agree with the online recipe. I made the 4 burger recipe and I think they're a bit too large, plus I wanted our burgers a bit thinner. Good taste. I would suggest using hot tap water and letting is sit covered for more like 20 minutes, as our burgers had black beans that were a tad crunchy."
