This is my favorite “Bic
"This is my favorite “Bic type” lighter. Other Plasma Lighters are not like using a Bic in one big way. The plasma arc stays down on the lighter casement, putting your hand much closer to the lit flame, unlike a “flame lighter” where the flame from the lighter can stretch out an inch or more from the lighter casement, protecting your hand from the flame being lit. With the Pocket Plasma Lighter with Flashlight by InstaFire, the plasma arc part EXTENDS toward what you’re lighting. Just pull it out BEFORE pushing the button that activates the plasma arc. Now your hand has separation from the flame being lit. The first time I tried one and discovered this feature, I recognized how wonderful it was, and how much more safety conscious it is. I love these and I keep purchasing more to replace any others I have. Love it!"

Works as advertised
"It's nice to have a rechargeable lighter, I purchased this with a solar power bank. The plasma lighter lights dry paper on fire instantly. I have yet to use it on wood shavings to see how hard it is to start a fire while camping. The flashlight is not super bright, however it is plenty of light to see what you are doing in any low and no light conditions."
