"Haven't had a chance to try these meals yet (going into emergency stash) but they look delicious. Shipping was very fast and everything arrived in great shape. I love Emergency Essentials!"
"I have not used the meal pouches yet. I had wonderful customer service. The young man was knowledgeable of the product and gave me insight into other products which I could enjoy on my next order. Regardless if my purchase works out or not I would consider ordering again due to the strength of the customer service."
"The ones I’ve tried are tasty. You need to add more water than directions recommend. Add water and seal. Carefully tip the pouch up and down to distribute water. It’s a one person serving if that’s all you’re eating for that meal. Lots of sodium."
"Tried each type and not impressed. All meats are tough, flavors are flat. These will only be used in the future for exstream emergencies."
"Delicious! Easy order, fast shipment, very convenient for any busy night for hubby & me. Ordering again so we have some for storage."
"Great, tried the Tuscan sausage breakfast one. Tastes good and was so easy to prepare just add boiling water"
"These meal pouches are a good way to learn whether you’ll actually eat certain foods. No point buying lots of something only to find you or your family won’t eat it. We’ve eaten everything in the 72 hour pack and now I’m confident about what to get more of. Also, I got best results when I let an item rehydrate for more than the recommended 10 minutes."
"I have to admit that I didn't think any of the meals wouldn't really turn out. I mean, Freeze-dried gourmet food (emphasis on "gourmet") right? How good can this possibly be? Well, this is the very first time I ate one of these meals and let me tell you I was very surprised and happy to be wrong about the impressions I had about freeze-dried foods. I had the Tuscan Sausage Pasta because it was late, and I didn't want to cook or go out and it - was - absolutely - delicious! Well-seasoned and very flavorful - I could taste most every ingredient. This was filling and very satisfying. Pros: lightweight - you can take several anywhere you go and know you will be well fed. Well-made packaging so that it can take and maintain hot boiling water with no accidental mess means this item will serve well in many applications (hunting, camping, hiking, busy lifestyle, lunch or dinner if working overtime, emergencies etc. ). As long as you have access to clean hot water you have the food portion of you day well taken care of. Very cost effective, meaningful portions and very filling. Easy preparation and easy clean up (for us anyway) mean you can get on with your day and chase those goals - even if it's just catching a little R&R. Cons: There are not many. My main issue was the larger portions of sausage may need a little more water and time to reconstitute. Instead of the stated 1 cup of hot water for me it may been a little more between 1 and 1- 1/4 cup. My only other issue was I didn't go out for a bottle of wine. . . I know better for next time. I know I can't speak for anyone else, and everyone has their own taste, but overall, this was very good purchase! Whether you buy them for yourself or as a gift for others; you will be happy, and the recipient(s) will thank you. I am very glad I made the purchase and will most certainly buy more and will tell others about my experience. My compliments to the chef and Bon Appetit! Markus,"
"The only problem is I’d have to open them to do that! I don’t want to expose my emergency food by opening. If you gave a sample of products I’d surely do it."
