"1 Cup of boiling water is way to much for this product it was soupy and it did not taste good at all, you need (3/4 Cup) of boiling instead of (1 Cup) of boiling water. This product will be apart of my Food Storage. Thank you for yours service."
"Wow, the meals are amazing. You may need a little more water to rehydrate or a little more resting time to soak up moisture to ensure the sausage bits are not crunchy. Other than that these are like home made. They also do include enough to feed two people!"
"At 7,200' elevation even with additional water and extended hydration time sausage was still crunchy and biscuit pieces dry and crunchy. Poor flavor. Second beyond product I have tried that was not as good as other dehydrated or freeze dried products. Been eating thee types of meals for 50 years so my expectations are experience based. "I have tried several kinds of your packets. They all have similar issues. The chunks of food are too large and do not absorb the water. Suggest smaller chunks of food, may resolve this issue."

"I just tried my first pouch of the biscuits and gravy and I was really excited based on other reviews. It seems this meal has a similar issue as the breakfast skillet, the sausage won't soften up! I added a little more than the recommended 1 cup of boiling water, and I let it steep in the closed pouch 2x longer than the recommended 10 minutes. Still, all sausage bites were still firm, some even still crunchy. The biscuits soften up nicely, and the gravy has pretty good flavor but the protein should be the star of the show. In this case, and in the case of the breakfast skillet, it is not."
