I ordered 6 cans of

"I ordered 6 cans of freeze dried green peas. They are for emergency use, but I need to state my "emergency use" of freeze dried vegetables and other freeze dried items started more about 12 years ago with a large brain tumor. I'm much much better now and can often drive when I choose or need to, but not all the time. The side effects from the brain tumor are still such that I can't always jump in the car and run to the store if I choose to. That's one part of the equation where freeze dried green peas or other foods/vegetables come use for me. Another part of the equation is that freeze dried vegetables provide MUCH better quality nutrition than do canned or even frozen vegetables/foods. While I have not yet opened one of the can's I just purchased (still using the remainder of the previous can I had opened), I have every faith these FD green peas will be every bit as good as all the others I've purchased. "Emergencies" don't have to depend on natural disasters, political conflicts, regional situations, weather, they can become very individual and personal. It has been such a wonderful privilege to be able to purchase #10 cans of FD green peas and other types of foods from Emergency Essentials because without that ability there would have been quite a few yeas when I would have been in a LOT of trouble. The cans I just purchased will be used as needed and they're a great reassurance because the future is very unknown and if something happens in any respect that food is needed, I'm very reassured to have these on hand."

Freeze dried green peas

"These peas are great and I use them in numerous recipes, in which you cannot tell them from fresh peas, and they are way better than canned peas. The long storage life makes them very handy to have around. They rehydrate in hot / near boiling water in about 20 minutes."

Peas

"Arrived in pristine condition. Saving for later date. But we have been eating the strawberries (addicting). And the tomato chunks which will be a favorite on taco night."

Not opened yet, no idea of quality

"These went straight into my storage. I cannot comment on the quality."

"Here's another vegetable hard to find, you can find greenbeans and corn- but hard to find the peas."

Nearly as good as frozen without the worry

"I keep several of these cans of freeze dried peas as I use them often. Perfect for soups and pot pies."
