The metallized (mylar) bags do need to be sealed. This is done with an iron (low setting) and usually a yardstick that goes the length of the top of the bag. We are planning on posting pictures and possibly a video of how this is done. Should be coming soon!
Do the metallized liners need to be sealed in any way or do you simply roll them up before snapping the lid in place?
The oxygen absorbers should be placed inside the mylar bag with the food product.
Is the oxygen absorber inside the bag or in the bucket outside of the bag?
I think it's awesome that theirs advances even in food storage. The taste, quality and preservation methods keep getting better and better.
